Claude Sales Email Suite
Three sales emails you'll actually use. Cold outreach that doesn't make you cringe, follow-ups that don't feel like begging, and re-engagement that sounds like you, not a sequence.
This skill is a multiplier, not a magic wand.
It only works as well as the voice samples you give it. Without your real emails as reference, the output will read like cold AI copy.
Before you install, make sure you have:
- 3 to 5 of your best past sales emails uploaded as voice samples
- Your offer and ideal client clearly defined so the angle lands
- Your brand identity skill installed so every variant sounds like you
- Gmail connected as a connector so Claude can read past threads with the lead
Without these, you'll get three generic emails. With them, you'll get three you'd actually send.
Three emails. One skill. All in your voice.
Tell Claude which type you need and give it the lead's context. You get three variants back so you can pick or remix without writing from scratch.
Cold outreach
A first-touch email that opens with something specific (not "I came across your business"), names a real reason to talk, and ends with a low-friction ask.
Follow-up
The email you send when they didn't reply. Short. Useful. Adds context, not pressure. Doesn't apologise for following up.
Re-engagement
The email for old leads who went quiet. Acknowledges the gap, offers a fresh reason to reconnect, and asks one direct question.
You pick the variant
Three options every time, each with a one-line note on the difference. Claude tells you which one it would send and why.
Copy this into Claude
Install it once as a custom skill. Replace the placeholders before you save. Then any time you say "write a cold email" or "follow up with [lead]" or "re-engage [name]", Claude runs this automatically.
# Sales Email Suite Writes cold outreach, follow-up, and re-engagement emails in three variants every time. Use this skill any time I say "write a cold email", "draft outreach to [lead]", "follow up with [name]", "re-engage [lead]", "they haven't replied, what do I send", "old lead going cold", or any variation of needing a sales email written. Always use this skill rather than writing sales emails from scratch. --- ## Your Setup Update these once before saving the skill: | Token | Value | |---|---| | Business name | [YOUR BUSINESS NAME] | | Business description | [BRIEF BUSINESS DESCRIPTION] | | What you sell | [WHAT YOU SELL] | | Ideal client | [WHO IT'S FOR e.g. "wellness brand founders doing $200k+, who need a website that converts"] | --- ## Before writing, confirm: 1. Which type of email is this? Cold, follow-up, or re-engagement? 2. Who is the lead and what's the context (their business, why I'm reaching out, our history)? 3. Are there past emails or threads I should reference? --- ## Type 1: Cold outreach When the user says "cold email for [lead name + their business + why I'm reaching out]", do this: - Use a subject line that's specific and human (no "Quick question" or "Re: opportunity") - Open with something concrete observed about them or their business (a real observation, not flattery) - Name the reason for reaching out in one sentence - Make the ask small (15-minute call, reply with a yes/no, a single question) - Keep it under 120 words - No "hope you're well", no "I came across your business", no "I'd love to chat" --- ## Type 2: Follow-up When the user says "follow-up to [lead name], they haven't replied since [date or context]", do this: - Subject line: reply to the same thread, no new subject - Open with one new piece of value or context (a relevant case study, a question, an insight, not "just bumping this") - Reference what was last talked about - Make it easy to reply with a yes, no, or "send me X" - Maximum 80 words - Don't apologise. Don't say "I know you're busy". Don't say "circling back" --- ## Type 3: Re-engagement When the user says "re-engagement for [lead name], gone quiet since [date or context]", do this: - Subject line: fresh subject, intriguing but not gimmicky - Acknowledge the gap in one line, no guilt - Give them a real reason to reconnect now (something changed, a new offer, a question only they can answer) - One direct question at the end - Maximum 100 words --- ## Output format For each variant: - Subject line (clearly labelled) - Email body (plain text, ready to paste) - One-line note on what makes this version different End with a short note flagging which variant you'd send if it were your call, and why. --- ## Copy rules - Always return THREE variants per type so the user can pick - Number them V1, V2, V3 with a one-line note on the difference (e.g. "V1 leads with a question, V2 leads with an insight, V3 is the shortest") - Never start a sentence with "I hope" or "I just" - No em dashes — use commas or full stops instead - Never use these words: unlock, transform, elevate, level up, game-changer, leverage, hustle, scale, manifest, empower - Australian English (analyse, organise, colour, etc.) - Warm and direct. Never hype, never corporate - If the user has uploaded past emails as reference, match that voice - If there's not enough context (no name, no reason, no history), ask before writing --- ## After running the skill Tell the user: 1. Pick a variant or remix two of them 2. Send it through Gmail or your usual sender 3. If you change anything before sending, tell me what so I sharpen the next round 4. When an email lands a reply or a sale, save it back to your reference library
Replace these before you save
Four placeholders. Even better, upload 3 to 5 of your past best emails as voice samples so Claude mirrors your rhythm.
Your business name.
One line. e.g. "an online business teaching content strategy to creators".
Your offer or offers, named the way you name them.
Your ideal client. Be specific. e.g. "wellness brand founders doing $200k+, who need a website that converts".

Why I built this one
Sales emails were the place I sounded the least like me. I'd write a perfectly good Instagram caption in five minutes, then spend an hour rewriting one cold outreach email and still hate it.
The fix was teaching Claude exactly how I open, what I refuse to say, and what counts as a real reason to reach out. Now I get three variants in 30 seconds, pick one, and send it before I overthink it. Most weeks the V2 wins.
